The speaker(s) will be announced shortly. The key note will focus on the establishment of a government sponsored Fund providing financial support for the validation of technologies to proof of principle. In order to gain access to sources of funding, researchers and start-ups need to show proof of principle for their innovative technologies. Reaching proof of principle stage is currently a great financial challenge and the German government promised to advance promising technologies through establishment of this Fund earmarked specifically for proof of principle research.
There will be a total of three Legal Presentations addressing ethical, IP and contractual issues related to stem cells and cell based technologies. The Industrial Presentations will feature medium and larger size companies involved in regenerative medicine projects and will describe the particular interests of these companies in the emerging technologies. Finally, the Biotechnology Presentations will feature presentations of specific projects in pre start-up or early start-up stage from selected clusters of excellence in Regenerative Medicine.
The titles along with the presenters are currently being finalized and will be announced shortly.
